I am an aspiring environmental, science, and news journalist. My writing includes spoken word, fiction, and journalism, mostly in English but sometimes in Russian and Hebrew.
I was born in the U.S.S.R, but grew up in the West Bank of Israel/Palestine and occasionally in Brooklyn, NYC. Currently, I'm based in Ottawa where I organize with various coalition, campaigns, and social justice groups. My educational background is in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Guelph.

I am a former foster child who advocates for improvements and accountability in child-welfare services via a non-profit organization known as The Foster Care Council of Canada.
